Jenne Farm

Jenne Farm is a farm located in Reading, Vermont. It is one of the most photographed farms in the world, especially in autumn. The farm has appeared in magazine covers, photography books, and a Budweiser television advertisement; it has also served as a setting in the films Forrest Gump and Funny Farm. Photographs of the farm have appeared on posters, postcards and wall calendars. Despite its fame, the private farm is located along a dirt road and is not heavily promoted.

Lake Rescue (Vermont)

Lake Rescue is located in Windsor county of south central Vermont, in the northeastern United States. It is the tenth deepest (at 95 feet) and 23rd largest lake (at 184 acres) in Vermont. Lake Rescue is located along VT Route 100 about three miles north of Ludlow and Okemo Mountain, and it is surrounded by the town of Ludlow.

Brownsville, Vermont

Brownsville is an unincorporated village in West Windsor, Vermont, United States. Located on State Route 44, the village houses a number of administrative offices for the town of West Windsor. The village derives its name from two settlers, John and Briant Brown. The West Windsor Historical Society is in Brownsville and has a wealth of information on the sheep farms and industries that sustained the early residents.

Ascutney Mountain Resort

Ascutney Mountain was a ski area located on the western side of Mount Ascutney in Brownsville, Vermont. It opened in the winter of 1946 under the ownership of Catharine Cushman. Most recently, it was owned from 1993 until summer 2010 by Steven and Susan Plausteiner.
