Saratoga (Boyce, Virginia)

Saratoga, also known as the General Daniel Morgan House, is a home near Boyce, Virginia. It is a gray limestone Georgian house built by Brig. Gen. Daniel Morgan, best known for his victory over the British at the Battle of Cowpens in 1781. He named it after the American victory at Battle of Saratoga. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1973. It is located about .5 miles south of Boyce on the west side of County Route 723.

The Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center is a civilian command facility in the U.S. state of Virginia, used as the center of operations for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Also known as the High Point Special Facility (HPSF), its preferred designation since 1991 is "SF".
