Southside Speedway

Southside Speedway (also known as "The Toughest Short Track in the South") is a short track used for stock car auto racing located just South of Richmond, Virginia in Chesterfield County. It is a .333-mile asphalt oval owned and operated by Sue Clements and Patsy Stargardt. The 2009 track champions were Chris Dodson (Late Model Sportsman), Billy Morris (Modifieds), Tommy Tatum (Grand Stock), Mike Chapman (U-Car) James Loving (Street Stock) and Stanley Holmes (Champ Kart).

Brandermill is a major suburban residential and commercial development in the Southside of Richmond, Virginia. It is located near Midlothian, Virginia at the southern terminus of the Powhite Parkway and is centered around the Swift Creek Reservoir.
