King George County is a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a state in the United States. As of 2010, the population was 23,584. Its county seat is King George. The county's largest employer is the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. It is adjacent to the two-lane, 2-mile long Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge carrying U.S. Highway 301 over the Potomac River. It contains the ZIP codes 22448 and 22485 (all other locations).

King George High School

King George High School is a high school in King George County, Virginia. It is and has been the only high school in the county since 1968 when the county's schools were integrated and Ralph Bunche High School was closed. In 2006 ground was broken on a new 215,000-square-foot high school building that opened in February 2009.

WGRQ (95.9 FM, "SuperHits 95.9") is an American broadcast radio station licensed to serve Fairview Beach, Virginia, USA. The station, which began broadcasting in May 1986, is currently owned and operated by Telemedia Broadcasting, Inc. Belle Grove (Port Conway, Virginia)

Belle Grove is a historic plantation located on U.S. 301 in Port Conway, Virginia. The present plantation house was built in 1790. James Madison, the fourth President of the United States, was born on March 16, 1751, on Belle Grove plantation, in an earlier house which no longer stands. Belle Grove plantation was the childhood home of his mother, Eleanor Rose "Nellie" Conway. Her father Francis Conway was the namesake for Port Conway.
