Moscow is a small village about 8 miles south of Bridgewater, Virginia located on route 42 with only a few residents left. It consists of a Brethren church, elementary school named North River Elementary (for surrounding area), cabinet shop, a couple houses, and a gas and grocery store. Natural Chimneys

Natural Chimneys is a regional park and natural rock structure located near Mt. Solon in Augusta County, Virginia in the United States, in the Shenandoah Valley. The rock "chimneys" formed from limestone that began to accumulate and harden into stone about 500 million years ago in the Paleozoic Era, when the region was underwater.

Stokesville Observatory

Stokesville Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned by H. D. Riddleberger of Harrisonburg, VA. It is located in Stokesville Campground in Stokesville near Mount Solon, Virginia (USA). The location is adjacent to the George Washington National Forest. The observatory has one 16-foot-diameter silo-type room housing a 14-inch Celestron Compustar telescope owned by James Madison University under a powered Ash observatory dome.
