Newmarket North Mall

Newmarket North Mall was a mall located in Hampton, Virginia that opened in 1975. Its three anchors were Miller & Rhoads, Leggett and Sears. In 1989, Goodman Segar Hogan bought the property and began a two-year, $9 million renovation and expansion project. In 1990, when the renovation was nearly complete, the mall was renamed "Newmarket Fair.

Mercury Boulevard

Mercury Boulevard in the cities of Hampton and Newport News in the Peninsula region of southeastern Virginia carries U.S. Highway 258 approximately 10 miles south from Fort Monroe at Old Point Comfort on Hampton Roads to the north end of the James River Bridge. Mercury Boulevard is a major north-south commercial corridor in the region, and intersects Interstate 64 in an elaborate interchange with flyovers in Hampton near the Hampton Coliseum.
