Fluvanna High School

Fluvanna County High School opened in the 1932 as one of the first county consolidated high schools in the U.S. Commonwealth of Virginia. FCHS is located about two miles west of Palmyra, Virginia on State Route 53. (Thomas Jefferson Parkway) The original Fluvanna County High School was located in Carysbrook. The Carysbrook campus was renovated in the 1980s and now serves as a community center with the original gym and playing fields being used by the county parks and recreation department.
