Columbia Plateau Trail
The Columbia Plateau Trail is a 130-mile -long 20-foot -wide corridor in eastern Washington State along the abandoned right-of-way of the former Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway. It runs between Cheney, Washington and Pasco at the confluence of the Snake River and Columbia River. It passes through parts of five counties in southeastern Washington. It is open to public for recreational use as part of the Washington State Park system.

Lake Herbert G. West
Lake Herbert G. West (or Lake West) is a reservoir formed by the Lower Monumental Dam. It extends up the Snake River for 28 miles (45 km) to the tailwater of Little Goose Dam. It has a surface area of 6,590 acres (27 km²), a maximum storage capacity of 432,000 acre feet, normally kept at 377,000 acre feet .

Lower Monumental Dam
Lower Monumental Lock and Dam is a hydroelectric, concrete, run-of-the-river dam on the Snake River, and bridges Franklin County and Walla Walla County, in the state of Washington. The dam is located six miles (10 km) south of the town of Kahlotus, and 43 miles (69 km) north of the town of Walla Walla. Construction began in June 1961. The main structure and three generators were completed in 1969, with an additional three generators finished in 1981.

Coyote Ridge Corrections Center
Coyote Ridge Corrections Center is a medium security prison located in Connell, Washington. Inmates held here typically have more than five years up to life to serve. Attached to the main facility is the minimum-security "camp", where inmates must have four years or less on their sentences. The camp buildings look more like those of an average community college, complete with landscaping. Inmates sleep in dormitories and grow some of their own food in a small garden on the grounds.
