Pine Grove, Wetzel County, West Virginia
Pine Grove is a town in Wetzel County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 552 at the 2010 census. It was so named because it was settled in a large pine thicket. The town is one mile north of Dominion Energy's large Hastings Extraction Station, which separates natural gas into various subproducts such as butane. The Hastings plant is unique in that there are traffic signals approximately 0.75-mile away from the plant in either direction to stop traffic in case of an emergency.

Harker Run (West Virginia)
Harker Run is a stream located in Wetzel County, West Virginia, USA. The mouth of Harker Run is approximately 300 m (1000 ft) south-southwest of the small village of Earnshaw. The creek flows roughly from southwest to northeast, and is approximately 2.8 km in total length. It drains into Long Drain at its northeastern end at 330 m (1080 ft) above sea level. At its highest point, the creek is at approximately 430 m (1400 ft) elevation.
