Tyler County Speedway

Tyler County Speedway is a 1/4 mile dirt oval located in Tyler County, southeast of Middlebourne, West Virginia. It holds big races such as the Earl Hill Memorial, Topless 50, Eaton/Childers 'King of the Ring', Dickson classic, and The Hillbilly 100. The classes of cars that race at Tyler County Speedway are Late Models, Semi-Late Models, TSMA Modifieds, Hot Mods, Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars, Junkyard Warriors, and Mini Wedges. In 2006, the winner of Late Models was Steve Weigle.

Pine Grove, Wetzel County, West Virginia

Pine Grove is a town in Wetzel County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 552 at the 2010 census. It was so named because it was settled in a large pine thicket. The town is one mile north of Dominion Energy's large Hastings Extraction Station, which separates natural gas into various subproducts such as butane. The Hastings plant is unique in that there are traffic signals approximately 0.75-mile away from the plant in either direction to stop traffic in case of an emergency.
