Grant Town, West Virginia

Grant Town is a town in Marion County, West Virginia, in the eastern United States. The population was 613 at the 2010 census. The town was formed in 1901 with the opening of the Federal Coal and Coke Company bituminous coal mine, and was named for Robert Grant, vice president of the coal company. Cam Harker Spring is a spring located in Monongalia County, West Virginia, USA. The spring is located on a steep hillside 75 m (245 ft) above the southern bank of Dunkard Creek at 363 m (1190 ft) elevation above sea level. The spring is approximately 800 m (2600 ft) south of the town of Pentress and West Virginia Route 7, also known as the Mason-Dixon Highway. The spring is 2.4 km south of the Pennsylvania-West Virginia state border.
