Wheeling is the principal city of the Wheeling Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 28,486. West Virginia Northern Community College (WVNCC, or simply "Northern") is a public, multi-campus community college with the main campus located in downtown Wheeling, West Virginia, United States.
