Chesapeake, West Virginia

Chesapeake is a town in Kanawha County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 1,554 at the 2010 census. The town is situated on the Kanawha River. Chesapeake was incorporated in 1949 and named for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway, which has served the community since 1873. It is also the hometown of NFL player Chris Massey, long snapper for the St. Louis Rams. The current mayor of Chesapeake is Damon Bradshaw.

Riverside High School (West Virginia)

Riverside High School is the largest high school in Kanawha County, and is located in Belle, West Virginia, USA. The school opened in 1999 as a result of the consolidation of DuPont High School (AA) in Dupont City and East Bank High School (AA) in East Bank. Students from both of those former high schools, Cedar Grove and Montgomery areas attend the school. The school's attendance district runs from the Kanawha-Fayette county line to the Charleston city limits.
