Neal Island is a bar island on the Ohio River in Wood County, West Virginia. The island lies directly offshore from the city of Vienna. Neal Island is a part of the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge.

Memorial Bridge (Parkersburg, West Virginia)

The Memorial Bridge, locally known as the toll bridge, crosses the Ohio River connecting Belpre, Ohio and Parkersburg, West Virginia. The bridge is an alternate route to access US 50 from central Parkersburg, West Virginia. The bridge was completed circa 1954, and is of a steel truss design. It accommodates two lanes of traffic, one in either direction.

Vienna, West Virginia

Vienna is a city in Wood County, West Virginia, along the Ohio River. It is next to Parkersburg. The population was 10,749 at the 2010 census. It is the third largest city by population in the Parkersburg-Vienna-Marietta metropolitan area. Incorporated in 1935, the city was named by founders for the town of Vienna, New Jersey. Vienna was known for Vitrolite production until the 1940s.
