Namekagon Lake

Lake Namekagon is a chain of lakes located in the Chequamegon National Forest in northern Wisconsin. There are several restaurants and resorts located on Namekagon Lake, including Lakewoods, and Telemark Pointe. Restaurants include Pla-Mor, and the Loon Saloon. Fish Species include, but are not limited to, crappie, northern pike, and walleye.

Lake Namakagon

Lake Namakagon (pronounced NAM-uh-KAH-gun) is a large freshwater lake located in the Chequamegon National Forest in northern Wisconsin. The lake derives its name from the Ojibwe language, and it means "Lake abundant with sturgeons. " It is known for tourism, fishing, and as the home of the legendary Anishinaabe Chief Namakagon.

Camp North Star

North Star Camp for Boys is a 120 acre traditional American summer camp located just outside Hayward, Wisconsin. North Star was founded in 1945 by Lou and Renee Rosenblum. The camp was owned and operated by Robert and Sue Lebby, since 1972. Robert served as President of the Association of Independent Camps and has also served on the National Board of the American Camp Association. Robert recently sold the camp to former camper, counselor and village director, Andy Shlensky and his wife, Vickie.
