Nelson is a village in Buffalo County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 374 at the 2010 census. The village is surrounded by the Town of Nelson. Nelson is located at the junction of the Mississippi River and Chippewa River valleys. The river bottoms surrounding the confluence are home to a large amount of wildlife. A causeway and bridge across the Mississippi River link Nelson with the city of Wabasha, Minnesota at the junction of Wisconsin Highway 25 and Wisconsin Highway 35.

Wabasha–Nelson Bridge
The Wabasha–Nelson Bridge bridges is a truss bridge that connects Wabasha, Minnesota with Nelson, Wisconsin. It is an automobile bridge that traverses the Mississippi River. The bridge has a street setup, with one lane in either direction. It carries Minnesota State Highway 60 and WI 25 in either direction. The current bridge replaced a bridge built in 1931 that was only 19 feet wide and had two right angles on the Minnesota side.

The First Congregational Parsonage or Wabasha Chiropractic Clinic located at 305 Second Street West in Wabasha in the U.S. state of Minnesota is an example of a nineteenth century frame Italianate residence. This cubiform building has a low-pitched hip roof with eaves supported by brackets. The home was moved to its current location in 1987, due to construction of the Wabasha-Nelson Bridge.
