Wilmot is an unincorporated census-designated place and residential and business community in the town of Salem in southwestern Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population is 442. Wilmot has an area of 1.383 square miles, all of it land. The Wilmot Union High School, Kenosha County Fair grounds, the Wilmot Raceway, and the Wilmot Mountain Ski Resort are located in Wilmot.

Wilmot Mountain is a ski area in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, south of Wilmot and just north of the border with Illinois. Located in the southern region of Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine, Wilmot Mountain is the result of glaciation. The self-proclaimed "Matterhorn of the Midwest" was founded by Walter Stopa in 1938 after a thorough research of the area’s topography. With a vertical drop of about 200 feet, it is a relatively small hill.
