The Heart Mountain Relocation Center, named after nearby Heart Mountain, was one of ten Japanese American concentration camps used to incarcerate Japanese Americans excluded from the West Coast during World War II under the provisions of Executive Order 9066 signed by President Franklin D. Heart Mountain (Wyoming)

Heart Mountain is an 8,123-foot (2,476 m) klippe just north of Cody in the U.S. state of Wyoming, sticking up from the floor of the Bighorn Basin. The mountain is composed of limestone and dolomite of Ordovician through Mississippian age (about 500 to 350 million years old), but it rests on the Willwood Formation, rocks that are only about 55 million years old—rock on the summit of Heart Mountain is thus almost 300 million years older than the rocks at the base.

KPOW (AM)

KPOW is an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Powell, Wyoming. The station is owned by MGR Media LLC, and carries a local program in the morning, syndicated programming during the midday and country music in the evenings and weekends. The studios and offices are located south of town at 912 Lane 11. The two tower transmitter site is on Lane 13. According to FCC Ownership reports, MGR Media is part of Chaparral Broadcasting, which is 100% owned by Jerrold T.

Yellowstone Regional Airport

Yellowstone Regional Airport is a public-use airport located two nautical miles (3.7 km) southeast of the central business district of Cody, a city in Park County, Wyoming, United States. It is the only commercial airport in Park County. It is in northwestern Wyoming, about 53 miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The airport is owned by the city of Cody and is operated by the Yellowstone Regional Airport Joint Powers Board.
