Vung Ro Bay

Vũng Rô Bay is a small bay in Phu Yen, Vietnam. Vung Ro is located in the commune of Hoa Xuan Nam, Dong Hoa District, located at the edge of Ca Pass mountains. The bay is the natural border of provinces of Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa. Vung Ro covers an area of 16.4 square kilometres and is surrounded by Ca Pass, Da Bia and Hon Ba mounts from the north, the east and the west respectively. There are some fine sand seasides by the bay. The bay is home to coral reefs.

Cả Pass

The Cả pass (Đèo Cả) is a mountain pass in Phú Yên province, Vietnam. The mountains are known as the Cả pass mountains (núi Cả Đèo). Historically the Ca Pass was the second most difficult col in Vietnam after Hải Vân Pass. In 1611, the Nguyen pushed their border down to Ca Pass.

Van Phong Port

Van Phong Port is a deep water port planned for development in Van Phong Bay, north of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. Van Phong Bay has a natural average depth of 22 to 27 metres and is naturally protected by the Hòn Gốm Peninsula. The first stage of construction started in September 2009 and includes two piers that will be capable to handle ships of up to 9,000 ]]TEU and a draught of 16.5 metres.
