Thu Bon River

The Thu Bồn River (Vietnamese: Sông Thu Bồn) is a river in central Vietnam, located near Quang Nam Province. From its source near the border of Quang Nam and Quảng Ngãi provinces, it flows northwest through Bắc Trà My, Phú Ninh, Hiệp Đức and Quế Sơn districts; turning northeast, it forms the border between Đại Lộc district and Duy Xuyên district, before emptying into the South China Sea at Hội An. The Thu Bồn valley was a centre of Champa culture from 700 until the Vietnamese conquest in 1471.

Kim Bồng woodworking village

Kim Bồng woodworking village (Vietnamese: Làng mộc Kim Bồng) is a village located in Cẩm Kim commune, Hội An, Quảng Nam province, most notable for its carpentry and traditional woodworking products. Established in the 15th century, it reached its peak in the 18th century, during which time village craftsmen contributed their skills in woodworking to many different projects, including the Imperial capital in Huế.

Hill 55

Hill 55 or Nui Dat Son {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:15|55|15.73|N|108|9|23|E| | |name=Hill 55, Vietnam }} was a hill southwest of Danang, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. The hill was located 3 km northeast of the confluence of the Yen, Ai Nghia and La Tho Rivers. In the First Indochina War, two battalions of the French forces were wiped out on Hill 55. The hill was extensively mined by the Vietcong.

Marble Mountain Air Facility

Marble Mountain Air Facility (MMAF) was an aviation facility used primarily by the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. It was a helicopter facility that was constructed in August 1965 and served as home to Marine Aircraft Group 16, the 5th Special Forces Group and an assortment of other squadrons until May 1971.
