Bà Nà Hills

Bà Nà Hill Station (or Bà Nà Hills) is a hill station and resort located in the Truong Son Mountains west of the city of Da Nang, in central Vietnam. The station, advertised as "the Dalat of Danang province" by local tourism authorities, was founded in 1919 by French colonists. Linh Ung Pagoda is situated near the station, with a cable car nearby to carry tourists to and from the resort.

Dai Loc District

Đại Lộc is a rural district (huyện) of Quang Nam province in the South Central Coastal region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 158,052. The district covers an area of 586 km². The district capital lies at Ai Nghia. Dai Loc has 17 communes and a capital town Thi Tran Ai Nghia The communes are Đại Đồng, Đại Hiệp, Đại Nghĩa, Đại An, Đại Quang, Đại Lãnh, Đại Hưng, Đại Minh, Đại Cường, Đại Thạnh, Đại Thắng, Đại Phong, Đại Hồng, Đại Hòa, Đại Chánh, Đại Tân, and Đại Sơn.

Geography of Vietnam

Vietnam is located on the eastern margin of the Indochinese peninsula and occupies about 331,211.6 square kilometers, of which about 25% was under cultivation in 1987. It borders the Gulf of Thailand, Gulf of Tonkin, and South China Sea, alongside China, Laos, and Cambodia. The S-shaped country has a north-to-south distance of 1,650 kilometers and is about 50 kilometers wide at the narrowest point.

Hill 55

Hill 55 or Nui Dat Son {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:15|55|15.73|N|108|9|23|E| | |name=Hill 55, Vietnam }} was a hill southwest of Danang, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. The hill was located 3 km northeast of the confluence of the Yen, Ai Nghia and La Tho Rivers. In the First Indochina War, two battalions of the French forces were wiped out on Hill 55. The hill was extensively mined by the Vietcong.
