Phu Loc District

Phú Lộc is a rural district of Thua Thien – Hue province in the North Central Coast region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 149,418. The district covers an area of 728 km². The district capital lies at Phu Loc. The area abuts the South China Sea to the east and the Hai Van Pass to the south. The city of Phu Loc is the main economic focal point of the district, mainly due to tourism.

Geography of Vietnam

Bà Nà Hills

Bà Nà Hill Station (or Bà Nà Hills) is a hill station and resort located in the Truong Son Mountains west of the city of Da Nang, in central Vietnam. The station, advertised as "the Dalat of Danang province" by local tourism authorities, was founded in 1919 by French colonists. Linh Ung Pagoda is situated near the station, with a cable car nearby to carry tourists to and from the resort.

Cau Hai

Cau Hai (Cầu Hai) is a town in Thừa Thiên province, Vietnam. Located in the middle between Huế and Đà Nẵng cities, Cau Hai is on the bank of the Cầu Hai river and at the foot of Bach Ma National Park. In 1968, few months before the Tết Offensive, the Cầu Hai bridge was blown up by North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong. The bridge was later rebuilt. Over the Cau Hai Bay is the beautiful My A village.
