Firebase Bastogne
Firebase Bastogne was a United States firebase in South Vietnam, at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:16|21|20|N|107|26|55|E|type:city | |name= }}. It was located along Highway 547 halfway between the city of Huế and the A Shau Valley, a feeder route from the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Bastogne was constructed in 1968 by the 101st Airborne Division. It was later closed, but reopened in August 1969 by the 2nd/501st Infantry, 101st Airborne Division.

Thien Mu Pagoda
Thien Mu Pagoda is a historic temple in the city of Huế in Vietnam. Its pagoda has seven storeys and is the tallest in Vietnam. Battle of Hue
The Battle of Huế during 1968 (also called the Siege of Huế), was one of the bloodiest and longest battles of the Vietnam War (1959–1975). Battalions of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN), two U.S. Army battalions, and three understrength U.S. Marine Corps battalions defeated more than 10,000 soldiers of the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN or NVA) and the Viet Cong (Việt Cộng or VC, also known as National Liberation Front or NLF).
