Victoria Falls Bridge
The Victoria Falls Bridge crosses the Zambezi River just below the Victoria Falls and is built over the Second Gorge of the falls. As the river is the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, the bridge links the two countries and has border posts on the approaches to both ends, at the towns of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Livingstone, Zambia.

Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park

Old Drift cemetery
The Old Drift Cemetery is a small burial site near the Zambezi river in modern-day Zambia. It includes the graves of early European settlers and visitors to nearby Victoria Falls who died of causes such as malaria and is located in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Settlers eventually left the area for higher ground, where the town of Livingstone was formed. Notable burials include: Samuel Thomas Alexander (1836-1904)

Livingstone, Zambia
Livingstone, sometimes known as Maramba, is the capital of the Southern Province of Zambia, a tourism centre for the Victoria Falls lying 10 km north of the Zambezi River, it is a border town with road and rail connections to Zimbabwe on the other side of the Victoria Falls. A historic British colonial city, its present population was estimated at 136,897 inhabitants at the 2010 census. It is named after David Livingstone, the British explorer who was the first white man to explore the area.
