Delungra, New South Wales

Delungra is a small town on the Gwydir Highway, 33 kilometres from Inverell and 43 kilometres from Bingara in Inverell Shire, New South Wales, Australia. Delungra was incorporated as a town in 1907 and celebrated the centenary of the town combined with Australia Day celebrations in 2007. An earlier Reedy Creek Post Office was renamed Delungra on 11 June 1906.

Myall Creek massacre

Myall Creek Massacre involved the killing of up to 30 unarmed Australian Aboriginals on 10 June 1838 at the Myall Creek near Bingara in northern New South Wales. After two trials, seven of the 12 settlers involved in the killings were found guilty of murder and hanged.

Warialda Rail, New South Wales

Warialda Rail is a town in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. The town is located in the Gwydir Shire local government area, 581 kilometres north of the state capital, Sydney. At the 2006 census, Warialda Rail and the surrounding area had a population of 345. The name of the local school and the area generally was originally Kelly's Gully, shortened by local residents to "the Gully". The Warialda railway station was located in the village.

Warialda is a town in the Northwest Slopes region of New South Wales, Australia, in Gwydir Shire. Situated on the banks of the Warialda Creek, the town's name means "Place of Wild Honey. " At the 2011 census, Warialda had a population of 1,120.

Mount Russell, New South Wales

Mount Russell is a village in Inverell Shire of New South Wales in Australia. At the 2006 census the village and surrounding area had a population of 237. The village is approximately 25 km north-west of Inverell, New South Wales and is approximately 618 km by road from the state capital Sydney. A railway station on the Inverell branch opened on 10 March 1902, and was served by railmotors between Moree and Inverell.
