Noorat

Noorat is a small town in southwestern Victoria, Australia. Noorat is located approximately 240 km west of Melbourne. The township is located at the base of Mount Noorat, a dormant volcano, which is considered to have Australia's largest dry crater. At the 2006 census, Noorat had a population of 252. By 2011, according to the census, the population had dropped to 167. Noorat derives its name from Mount Noorat, a dormant volcano named by Major Mitchell after a local Indigenous elder, Ngoora.

Terang is a town in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. The town is in the Shire of Corangamite and on the Princes Highway 212 kilometres south west of the state's capital, Melbourne. Terang railway station

Terang is a railway station on the Warrnambool railway line in Terang, Victoria, Australia. All V/Line passenger services stop at the station. The station was once the junction of a branch line to Mortlake. At the peak of operations the station had a four road yard, today it has a single dead end siding.

Terang College is a government school located in Terang, Victoria, Australia. The school was established in 1848 as Terang Primary School. The school educates over 400 students from preparatory to year 12 on two campuses. The primary campus is located on the Southern (Warrnambool) side of the town and houses years preparatory to 4. The secondary campus is on Strong Street, and comprises a middle years section and an upper years section. This campus caters for children in years 5 to 12.

Mortlake, Victoria

Mortlake is a town in the Western District of Victoria, Australia on the Hamilton Highway, 50 kilometres north-east of Warrnambool. It is in the Shire of Moyne local government area and the federal Division of Wannon. At the 2001 census, Mortlake had a population of 941. At the 2006 census, Mortlake had a population of 996. Mortlake is situated at the foot of Mount Shadwell, formed 25,000 years ago. It is believed that it last erupted about 5,000 years ago.
