Noorat is a small town in southwestern Victoria, Australia. Noorat is located approximately 240 km west of Melbourne. The township is located at the base of Mount Noorat, a dormant volcano, which is considered to have Australia's largest dry crater. At the 2006 census, Noorat had a population of 252.
