The New England Girls' School (NEGS), is an independent, Anglican, day and boarding school for girls, located in Armidale, a rural city in northern New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1895 by Florence Emily Green, NEGS is a non-selective school, and currently caters for approximately 310 students from Pre-Preparatory (4 years old) to Year 12 (18 years old), including 140 boarders from Years 5 to 12.

Armidale High School is a co-educational, public secondary school, located in Armidale, a university and cathedral city in northern New South Wales, Australia. Founded in 1920, Armidale High School was the first state secondary school to be established in Armidale. Austin College UNE

Austin College is the youngest college at the University of New England with rooms for 288 students. Austin has a range of facilities including common rooms on every floor, kitchenettes, a licensed bar, music room, exercise room, a Large Common Room, bike shed, laundries and a large dining hall. 2ARM

2ARM FM is a community radio station broadcasting to Armidale, NSW having had its Permanent Community Broadcasting Licence reinstated after operating on a Temporary Community Broadcasting Licence (TCBL). The station has been broadcasting for over 31 years to Armidale, Walcha, Uralla, Guyra and all areas in between. It is volunteer based, and is a member of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA). It became an Incorporated Association in June, 2009.

Trevenna

Trevenna is the residence of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of New England, in Armidale, New South Wales, Australia. The house was built in 1892 and is located off Trevenna Road on the western side of the main campus in Armidale. There is no public access to the property or gardens, but the gardens have been open for public viewing, once in 1996 and twice in 2005.
