Halls Town small place with no location listed in the unpublished manuscript. Halls Town is located in the Port de Grave area. Halls Town was a village south west of Bay Roberts. It had a population of 320 in 1956. Halls Town is now a part of the town of Clarke's Beach.

South River, Newfoundland and Labrador

South River is a town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, located at the junction of Cupids, Roache's Line, Makinsons and Clarke's Beach at the head of Bay De Grave. The town had a population of 655 in the 2011 Canadian Census. In addition to the primary settlement at South River, the town also includes the smaller settlements of The Broads and Springfield.

Shearstown, Newfoundland and Labrador

Shearstown is a settlement in Newfoundland and Labrador. It is part of the Town of Bay Roberts. Shearstown, like many towns of the Bay Roberts area, is saturated with history and great Newfoundland culture. St. Mark's Anglican School in Shearstown dates back to 1867. (The original building has been incorporated into the present school, making it the oldest school in the district. Sadly, the building was destroyed by fire in 2002.)
