Greenore
Greenore is a small town, townland and deep water port on Carlingford Lough in County Louth, Ireland. The population of Greenore and the surrounding rural area (electoral area) was 898 in the 2002 Irish census. Greenore has the only privately owned port in Ireland. It has three berths and can handle vessels of up to 39,999 gross tons. In 1964 the port was used to fit out the ships used for the pirate radio stations Radio Caroline and Radio Atlanta (later Radio Caroline South).

Greencastle, County Down
Greencastle is a castle in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is a royal castle built in the 13th century. It was attacked and taken by Edward Bruce in 1316, attacked at least twice by the Irish in the later 14th century but still maintained as an English garrison in the 1590s. The large rectangular keep with three vaulted chambers at the ground floor is approached across a rock-cut ditch. While it dates mainly from the 13th century, it had substantial 15th- and 16th-century alterations.

Cranfield Point
Cranfield Point is the southernmost point of Northern Ireland. It is located at the mouth of Carlingford Lough in the townland of Cranfield, County Down. It was once the site of the Cranfield Point lighthouse, marking the entrance to the lough. Its poor position led to the construction of the Haulbowline Lighthouse situated in the middle of the entrance to Carlingford Lough. Cranfield Point Lighthouse subsequently fell victim to coastal erosion and collapsed into the sea during the 1860s.
