Shutlingsloe is a hill near the village of Wildboarclough, in the east of the county of Cheshire. It stands to the south of Macclesfield Forest, on the edge of the Peak District and within the Peak District National Park.

Sutton Common BT Tower

Sutton Common BT Tower is a radio tower built of reinforced concrete at Macclesfield, Cheshire, England. It is one of the few communication towers in the United Kingdom built of reinforced concrete. It is part of the 1960s 'backbone' network, relaying signals to Heaton Park in the north and Pye Green to the south. The tower stands near the summit of Croker Hill on the western edge of the Peak District national park.

Silk 106.9

Silk 106.9 is an Independent Local Radio station broadcasting to the town of Macclesfield as well as parts of Cheshire East. It is an FM station broadcasting at 106.9 FM. Towns in the Silk region includes Congleton, Knutsford, Sandbach and Wilmslow. It was part of The Local Radio Company, before being sold to Dee 106.3 in 2009, who renamed the station from its original "106.9 Silk FM".

The Roaches

The Roaches (from the French les roches - the rocks) is the name given to a prominent rocky ridge situated above Leek and Tittesworth Reservoir in the Peak District of England. The ridge with its spectacular rock formations rises steeply to 505 m . Along with Ramshaw Rocks and Hen Cloud they form a gritstone escarpment, which is very popular with hikers, rock climbers and freerunners. It is often very busy especially at weekends.

Trentabank Reservoir

Trentabank Reservoir is located within Macclesfield Forest, partly in the Peak District National Park in England, and is home to rich unimproved uplands and grasslands. The reservoir is surrounded mainly by coniferous plantations and is also home to about 22 pairs of herons.
