Admaston, Shropshire

Admaston is a village in the English ceremonial county of Shropshire, in the borough of Telford & Wrekin. It is located west of Wellington, and close to the village of Wrockwardine. It now forms part of the Telford new town. It has a row of shops, including a hairdresser, Post Office, and two small convenience stores. It also has one public house, The Pheasant, and a Methodist church.

Nash, Telford and Wrekin

Nash was a village in Shropshire, England which is believed to have been wiped out entirely by the Black Death of c.1349. It now no longer exists and is described as a lost settlement, deserted medieval village or abandoned village. Its location is near to the village of Wrockwardine, near The Wrekin and the M54 motorway.

Charlton Castle

Charlton Castle was a fortified manor house situated in Shropshire between Shrewsbury and Telford. Sir John Charlton was licensed to crenellate his dwelling at Charlton in 1316. This defended manor house was known as Charlton Castle and was apparently still used as a residence of the Lords of Powys in the earlier part of the 16th century. In 1588 it was sold to Francis Newport but then fell into disuse.

Longdon-on-Tern

Longdon-Upon-Tern (also known as Longdon-on-Tern or colloquially Longdon) is a village in east central Shropshire, England. It is in the unitary district of Telford and Wrekin, and is approximately 11 kilometres east of Shrewsbury and 11 kilometres north-west of Telford. Longdon-Upon-Tern is situated on the River Tern, a tributary of the River Severn.
