Bass River Township is a township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 1,443. Bass River was incorporated as a township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 30, 1864, from portions of Little Egg Harbor Township and Washington Township.

Bass River (New Jersey)

The Bass River is a 4.7-mile-long tributary of the Mullica River in southeastern New Jersey in the United States. It rises in the Pinelands of southeastern Burlington County and flows generally south, through Bass River State Forest, and joins the Mullica from the north approximately 1 mile upstream from its mouth on Great Bay. The lower 2 miles of the river forms an arm of the estuary of the Mullica.
