The Wading River is a tributary of the Mullica River, approximately 10.1 miles long, in southern New Jersey in the United States. The river drains a rural forested area of the Pinelands, one of the most pristine areas along the coast of the northeastern United States.

Batona Trail

The Batona Trail is a 49.5-mile hiking trail through New Jersey's Pine Barrens. The trail is the one of the longest in the state behind the Delaware and Raritan Canal Trail, the section of the Appalachian Trail within the state, the Liberty-Water Gap Trail, and the completed section of the Highlands Trail in the state. The trail begins in Brendan T. Byrne State Forest (formerly Lebanon State Forest) at the ghost town of Ong's Hat and traverses Wharton State Forest and Bass River State Forest.

Bass River Township School District

The Bass River Township School District is a community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through sixth grade from Bass River Township, in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. Students in grades 7 - 12 attend the schools of the Pinelands Regional School District. The district comprises the Pinelands Regional Junior High School (1,082 students in grades 7-9) and Pinelands Regional High School (888 students in grades 10-12).

Harrisville, New Jersey

Harrisville was a small production community that was settled from around 1795 - 1914 in Bass River Township, New Jersey, United States, located about six miles northwest of New Gretna in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. It is best known for producing paper under the Harris family's ownership. It was abandoned and then burned down in 1914 leaving only ruins. It is a part of the history of the Pine Barrens and New Jersey. Only the decayed ruins of this town exist today.
