University Mall (South Burlington, Vermont)

The University Mall or, informally, the U-mall, is an enclosed shopping mall located in the City of South Burlington, Vermont. The name refers to its proximity to the University of Vermont. At 610,000 square feet, it is by far the largest shopping mall in Vermont, and is one of two enclosed malls serving the greater Burlington area.

Gutterson Fieldhouse

Gutterson Fieldhouse is a 4,035-seat hockey arena in Burlington, Vermont. It is home to the Vermont Catamounts men's and women's ice hockey teams. It is the largest indoor arena in the state of Vermont. It is adjacent to Patrick Gymnasium at the school's athletic complex. It is named for Albert Lovejoy Gutterson, class of 1912, the school's first Olympian. He set an Olympic record with a 7.60 meter long jump, beating, among others, the great Jim Thorpe.

Patrick Gym

The Roy L. Patrick Gymnasium is a 3,228 seat (3,266 for men's and women's basketball) multi-purpose arena in Burlington, Vermont. It was built in 1963. It is used mainly as the home arena of the Vermont Catamounts men's and women's basketball teams. It hosted the 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2010 America East men's basketball tournament championship game, as the higher seed in the final hosts the game. The championship games were all televised on ESPN or ESPN2.

Centennial Field

Centennial Field is the name of the baseball stadium at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont and is the home of the Vermont Lake Monsters of the New York Penn League, the Short Season Class A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Beyond the left field fence is the former home of the University of Vermont's men's and women's soccer teams as well as once serving as UVM's home field for its men's and women's lacrosse teams, and its football team (1900–1974).

University of Vermont

The University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, more commonly known as the University of Vermont or UVM, is a public research university and, after 1862, the U.S. state of Vermont's land-grant university. The University is commonly known as "UVM," an abbreviation of its Latin name, Universitas Viridis Montis (University of the Green Mount). UVM is one of the original eight Public Ivies.
