Chittenden County Transportation Authority

Chittenden County Transportation Authority (CCTA) is a public bus system headquartered in Burlington in Chittenden County, Vermont. CCTA serves the communities of Burlington, Essex, South Burlington, Winooski, Shelburne, Williston and Milton. As well as providing regular bus routes to these member municipalities, CCTA also services part of Colchester and has express routes for commuters travelling between Burlington and Montpelier, Middlebury, and St. Albans.

WOKO is an American radio station broadcasting a Country music format. Licensed to Burlington, Vermont, USA, the station serves the Burlington-Plattsburgh area. The station is owned by Hall Communications, Inc.. It is not related to the former WOKO (AM) which started in the 1920s in New York City and operated for many years in Albany before changing its callsign to WDDY under the ownership of Radio Disney.

Rice Memorial High School

Rice Memorial High School is a coeducational Roman Catholic secondary school in South Burlington, Vermont. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington. It serves students throughout Northern and Central Vermont. The new school and buildings were named for Bishop Joseph Rice who had established Cathedral High School in 1917. The goal of Rice Memorial is to provide a challenging program that emphasizes academic excellence as well as personal and spiritual growth.

Gutterson Fieldhouse

Gutterson Fieldhouse is a 4,035-seat hockey arena in Burlington, Vermont. It is home to the Vermont Catamounts men's and women's ice hockey teams. It is the largest indoor arena in the state of Vermont. It is adjacent to Patrick Gymnasium at the school's athletic complex. It is named for Albert Lovejoy Gutterson, class of 1912, the school's first Olympian. He set an Olympic record with a 7.60 meter long jump, beating, among others, the great Jim Thorpe.
