Apollonia (Illyria)

Apollonia was an ancient Greek city in Illyria, located on the right bank of the Aous river. Its ruins are situated in the Fier region, near the village of Pojani, in modern-day Albania. Apollonia was founded in 588 BCE by Greek colonists from Corfu and Corinth, on a site initially occupied by Illyrian tribes and was perhaps the most important of the several classical towns known as Apollonia.

Loni Papuçiu Stadium (Albanian: Stadiumi Loni Papuçiu) is a multi-use stadium in Fier, Albania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of KS Apolonia Fier. The stadium has a capacity of 12,000 people.

Vjosë

Vjosë or Aoös (Greek: Αώος, for other forms of the name see below) is a river in northwestern Greece and southwestern Albania. Its total length is about 272 kilometres, of which the first 80 kilometres are in Greece, and the remaining 192 kilometres are in Albania. Vjosë is fed by two secondary branches, both in Albania, the Drino river and the Shushicë. Its source is in Greece, specifically in the Pindus mountains, in Epirus, near the village of Vovousa.
