Blue Eye, Albania

The Blue Eye is a water spring, natural phenomenon occurring in Saranda, Albania. A popular tourist attraction, the clear blue water of the river bubbles forth from a stunning, more than fifty-metre-deep pool. Divers have descended to fifty metres, but it is still unclear what the actual depth of the karst hole is.

Gjirokastër Mosque

Gjirokastër Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Gjirokastrës), also known as the Bazaar Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Pazarit), is a mosque located in Gjirokastër, Albania. The mosque was built in 1757. and is located in the Old Bazaar neighbourhood. It is one of fifteen mosques originally built in the city during the Ottoman era, of which thirteen survived till the communist period.
