Duckmaloi River
Duckmaloi River, a perennial stream that is part of the Macquarie catchment within the Murray–Darling basin, is located in the central western district of New South Wales, Australia. The Duckmaloi River rises on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range east of Shooters Hill, and flows generally to the north by east, where it forms its confluence with the Fish River near Oberon; dropping 265 metres over the course of its 27 kilometres length.

Oberon is a town and local government area in the central tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. The main industries are farming, forestry and wood products. The town usually receives snowfall during the winter months, owing to its high altitude. At the 2011 census, Oberon had a population of 2,459 people. It is the birthplace of Greens politician Bob Brown, Ken Sutcliffe, State motorcross rider Scott Saul and former Penrith Panthers star Mark Booth.

Mount Trickett
Mount Trickett is a mountain located on the Great Dividing Range six kilometres west of Jenolan Caves and can be seen from the nearby Jenolan-Oberon Road. The 'summit' or the area generally known as Mount Trickett is topped by a high tower, and stands over 500 metres above Jenolan Caves in the valley below. The tower location (around 1349m and called "The Porcupine") is not actually Mount Trickett or indeed the highest point.
