Marlow, New South Wales

Marlow is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia on the north bank of the Hawkesbury River 58 kilometres north of Sydney. It is part of the City of Gosford local government area. Although the northern boundary and Greenman Valley Recreation Park are reachable via a dirt track from the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway at Mount White, most of the suburb is only reachable by boat, and a ferry transports mail and groceries to the residents.

Popran Valley

Popran Valley is located to the north of the Hawkesbury River itself fifty kilometres to the north of the city of Sydney, Australia. Popran Creek flows through the Valley, also known as Glenworth Valley. Popran National Park was created in 1994 and is for the most part made up of sandstone cliffs and gullies. The creation of the park is indicative of the value the area has because of its unique fauna, flora and geology. The history of the Popran Valley includes pre and post-European settlement.

Glenworth Valley, New South Wales

Glenworth Valley is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located 65 kilometres north of Sydney. It is part of the City of Gosford local government area. The suburb of Glenworth Valley is primarily occupied by a large 3,000-acre rural property which is the home of the largest horse riding and outdoor adventure centre in Australia known as Glenworth Valley Horse Riding and Outdoor Adventures.

HMAS Parramatta (D55)

HMAS Parramatta, named for the Parramatta River, was a River-class torpedo-boat destroyer of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Ordered in 1909 for the Commonwealth Naval Forces (the predecessor of the RAN), Parramatta was the first ship launched for the Australian navy. Temporarily commissioned into the Royal Navy for the delivery voyage to Australia, the destroyer came under Australian naval control in 1910, and on 1 March 1911 was recommissioned into the RAN, shortly before its founding.
