Springdale, New South Wales

Springdale is a village community in the central north part of the Riverina region of the Australian state of New South Wales. It is situated by road, about 3 kilometres east from Combaning and 23 kilometres north west from Stockinbingal. Springdale Post Office opened on 1 November 1897 and closed in 1977. A railway station on the branch line to Lake Cargelligo served the community between 1893 and 1975.

Stockinbingal railway station

Stockinbingal is a former passenger railway station on the Lake Cargelligo railway line in New South Wales, Australia. The station opened in 1893 and closed to passenger services in 1983. The station survives largely intact, in good condition, as a safeworking location. Stockinbingal is the junction location of the cross country line to Parkes on the Broken Hill line. The station still has a short crossing loop, and a junction for the line to Temora.

Stockinbingal

Stockinbingal is a village in Cootamundra Shire in the South West Slopes region of New South Wales, Australia. It is also a part of the Riverina, and is on the Burley Griffin Way. At the 2006 census, Stockinbingal had a population of 221 people. Stockinbingal Post Office opened on 16 May 1891.

Temora is a town in the north-east of the Riverina area of New South Wales, 418 kilometres south-west of the state capital, Sydney. At the 2011 census the urban population of Temora was 3,874. The name "Temora" is derived from a Celtic term, which means "an eminence commanding a wide view."
