Tooma, New South Wales

Tooma is a village community in the eastern part of the Riverina and situated about 11 kilometres east from Welaregang and 34 kilometres south from Tumbarumba. Tooma is in the valley of the Tooma River, not far from where it joins the Murray River. Tooma Post Office opened on 1 January 1873.

Welaregang, New South Wales

Welaregang is a rural community in the far south east part of the Riverina and situated about 11 kilometres south west from Tooma and 15 kilometres south east from Ournie. At the 2006 census, Welaregang had a population of 162. The community area is named after the parish of Welaregang, and the nearby Welaregang Station also takes the name. There are numerous other grazing properties nearby.

Tooma River

Tooma River, a perennial stream that has had its flow diverted as a result of the Snowy Mountains Scheme, is part of the Murray catchment within the Murray–Darling basin and is located in the Australian Alpine region of New South Wales and Victoria, Australia.

Paddys River Falls

Paddys River Falls is a tourist attraction consisting of a barbecue and picnic area situated above the falls and a staired track to the base of the falls. The falls are 60 metres in height and the water flows over the drop and then continues down Paddys River. Paddys River Falls is situated in the Riverina area of New South Wales about 15 kilometres south of Tumbarumba on the Tooma to Tumbarumba road.

Tintaldra is a town in northeast Victoria, Australia in the Shire of Towong local government area and on the upper reaches of the Murray River, 440 kilometres northeast of the state capital, Melbourne and 131 kilometres east of the regional centre of Wodonga. At the 2006 census, Tintaldra and the surrounding area had a population of 203.
