Toongabbie, Victoria

Toongabbie is a small country town located in South Eastern Victoria Australia, 177 kilometres from Melbourne and just north of Traralgon. The railway station was closed in 1986 and the former railway line has now been absorbed into the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail. At the 2006 census, Toongabbie had a population of 463. The main attraction in Toongabbie is the Ned Stringer Memorial located on Hower Street. Toongabbie Primary School opened in 1856 and the school is still open to date.

Cowwarr, Victoria

Cowwarr is a town in Victoria, Australia, located 27 kilometres north-east of Traralgon, 174 kilometres east of Melbourne, in the Shire of Wellington. At the 2006 census, Cowwarr and the surrounding area had a population of 563. Established in the 1860s, the town serviced the area around Walhalla during the Victorian Gold Rush. The Post Office opened on 1 February 1869 as Upper Heyfield and was renamed Cowwarr in 1870. Historic buildings remain in the town today.

Cowwarr is a closed station located in the town of Cowwarr, on the Maffra railway line railway line in Victoria, Australia. It opened in 1883 with the construction of the line from Traralgon to Heyfield and was 184 km from Southern Cross. A telegraph office operated at the station from around 1910 to 1916.

Glengarry is a closed station located in the town of Glengarry, on the Maffra railway line railway line in Victoria, Australia. It opened in 1883 with the construction of the line from Traralgon to Heyfield and was 167 km from Southern Cross station. The station was first named La Trobe but was renamed Glengarry shortly after opening. A post office operated at the station from 1 January 1884.
