Prince Alfred Bridge

The Prince Alfred Bridge is a wrought iron truss and timber beam road bridge over the Murrumbidgee River and its floodplain at Gundagai, New South Wales. The bridge was named for the then reigning Queen Victoria's consort, Prince Alfred, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and was built to carry the Great Southern Road across the Murrumbidgee. It has existed in three forms, with only the main spans across the river itself being common to all three.

Dog on the Tuckerbox

The Dog on the Tuckerbox is an Australian historical monument and tourist attraction, located at Snake Gully, five miles (8 km) from Gundagai, New South Wales. The dog section of the monument was cast in bronze by 'Oliver's Foundry' Sydney and its base sculpted by Gundagai stonemason Frank Rusconi. It was unveiled by the then Prime Minister of Australia Joseph Lyons on 28 November 1932 as a tribute to pioneers.
