Wakool is a town in the western Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. Wakool is located in the Wakool Shire local government area, 791 kilometres south west of the state capital, Sydney and 336 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. At the 2006 census, Wakool had a population of 213. Wakool Post Office opened on 1 January 1870 and closed in 1874. It reopened in 1926.

Burraboi is a community in New South Wales, Australia. It is in the southwestern part of the Riverina and situated about 34 kilometres north of Barham and 50 km south of Moulamein. At the 2006 census, Burraboi had a population of 419. Burraboi Post Office opened on 1 July 1929 and closed in 1942 (a telephone office remained open until 1957). The largest rice silo complex in the southern hemisphere is located at Burraboi.
