Tully railway station
Tully is a railway station on the North Coast railway line, Queensland. It is serviced by several Queensland Rail passenger trains, including the Tilt Train. The station suffered severe water damage due to Cyclone Yasi, and was subsequently refurbished and reopened. The old station building is still attached to the south side of the station, with visible damage.

Tully, Queensland
Tully is a small town in Queensland, Australia, adjacent to the Bruce Highway approximately 140 kilometres south of Cairns by road and 210 kilometres north of Townsville. At the 2006 census, Tully had a population of 2,457. The Tully River (previously known as the Mackay River) was named after Surveyor-General William Alcock Tully in the 1870s. The town of Tully was then named after the river (previously it had been known as Banyan).

Golden Gumboot
The Golden Gumboot is a competition between the Far North Queensland towns of Tully, Innisfail, and Babinda in Australia for the wettest town of Australia. These towns are located in the Wet Tropics and on land that was previously covered by rainforest. These areas experience some of the highest levels of rainfall in Australia through monsoonal rain and cyclones. The winner for the competition (since 1970) was awarded a rubber boot.

Shire of Cardwell
The Shire of Cardwell was a local government area of Queensland. It was located on the Coral Sea coast about halfway between the cities of Cairns and Townsville. The shire, administered from the town of Tully, covered an area of 3,062.2 square kilometres, and existed as a local government entity from 1884 until 2008, when it amalgamated with the Shire of Johnstone to form the Cassowary Coast Region.

El Arish, Queensland
El Arish is a small town in Queensland, Australia named after a city in Egypt where the Australian Light Horse saw action in December 1916 and which was later developed as a major base area. At the 2006 census, El Arish had a population of 232. The town was founded in 1921 as a Soldier settlement area. The area was later settled by Italian Australians who worked in the sugar cane fields. Today, the area is home to banana plantations.
