Fassifern railway station

Fassifern railway station is a railway station located in Fassifern, New South Wales, Australia in the Lake Macquarie area on the Newcastle & Central Coast Line. The station is a major point along the line (it's usually included in the stop-off stations of express trains), providing access to the line for a large part of the area. The station has three platforms, although only two are in use, the third being the former branch line platform for the now closed Toronto railway line.

Fassifern is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie, in New South Wales, Australia, located west of Lake Macquarie. The Sydney-Newcastle railway line runs through Fassifern railway station, which is a major station along the line. There used to be a branch line between Fassifern Station and nearby Toronto, but this has been replaced by a bus service, aptly named "The Train".

Booragul railway station

Booragul railway station is a railway station located near Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia on the Main North railway line. The station opened in 1926, almost 40 years after the construction of this section of the Main North Line. The station has two platforms in an island configuration with lightweight passenger shelters. The original station buildings were extensively damaged in the 1989 Newcastle earthquake, resulting it their demolition and replacement with the current structures.
