Shire of Eidsvold
The Shire of Eidsvold was a local government area in the northern catchment of the Burnett River, Queensland, Australia. The shire covered an area of 4,809.4 square kilometres, and existed as a local government area from 1890 until 2008, when it amalgamated with several other shires to form the North Burnett Region. The major activities in the shire were beef cattle raising and forestry, and some irrigated properties existed along the Burnett and Nogo Rivers.

The town is the self-proclaimed Beef Capital of the Burnett and is a hub for the regional cattle industry. At the 2006 census, Eidsvold had a population of 459. The town is named for Eidsvold station, a nearby property. That in turn is named for Eidsvoll, Norway.

Mundubbera
Mundubbera is a town in the Wide Bay-Burnett region of Queensland, Australia. The town is located on the Burnett Highway, 405 kilometres north west of the state capital, Brisbane and 200 kilometres west of the regional centre, Bundaberg. Mundubbera is built on the bank on the Burnett River. At the 2001 census, the town had a population of 1,053. Mundubbera is the self-proclaimed "Citrus Capital of Queensland", although this is disputed by the neighbouring (and rival) town of Gayndah.
