Teemburra Dam was constructed in 1997 for town water storage and irrigation purposes. It is located approximately 50 km west of Mackay, Queensland. It has a surface area of 1,040 hectares, an average depth of 14.2 meters and holds 147,500 ML.

Mount Dalrymple (Queensland)
Mount Dalrymple is the highest peak in the Central Queensland section of the Great Dividing Range called the Clarke Range. The mountain has an elevation of 1259 metres. It is amongst the higher peaks in the Australian state of Queensland and located 858 km northwest of Brisbane, and 50 km west of Mackay. The peak and surrounding ranges are covered in dense tropical rainforest and forms part of the Eungella National Park.

Eungella Dam
Eungella Dam is one of Queensland's more established freshwater fisheries. Eungella has made a name for producing extra oversized Sooty grunter and more recently Barramundi. The dam was constructed in 1969 for irrigation and hydro-electric power. Eungella Dam holds 131 000 ML of water at an average depth of 14.7 m and has a surface area of 890 hectares at full capacity.
