Wynns (wine)

Wynns Coonawarra Estate is an Australian winery based in Coonawarra, South Australia. The estate was founded in 1891 by John Riddoch. He recognised the potential of the now famous red soil and planted vines. In 1951 the vineyard was bought by David and Samuel Wynn; it is now the region's largest vineyard owned by Treasury Wine Estates.

Penola, South Australia

Penola is a town 388 km southeast of Adelaide in the heart of one of South Australia's most productive wine growing areas. Coonawarra lies just to the north and is renowned for the quality of its red wines. At the 2006 census, Penola had a population of 1,317.
