Crystal Brook is a town in South Australia, named after the spring-fed creek next to which it was founded. It is 197 kilometres north of Adelaide and in 2006 had a population of 1,185. Crystal Brook is situated on Goyder's Line near the border of two climate systems. While apparently cold semi-arid, the town benefits from a temperate mediterranean climate zone near to the east, making possible slightly more intense farming in the region.

Bowman Park
Bowman Park is a public park on the Crystal Brook about 5 km northeast of the township of Crystal Brook and 200 km north of the major city of Adelaide. The park has an area of about 40ha and is in the Northern Agricultural Area of the state of South Australia, and named for the Bowman Brothers who settled in the area around 1850. . It is open to the public from sunrise to sunset. Toilets and gas fired barbecues are available, dogs are allowed on leashes.

Spencer Gulf Important Bird Area
The Spencer Gulf Important Bird Area comprises a 460 km strip of coastal land extending for about 100 km along the north-eastern coast of the Spencer Gulf, on the west side of the Yorke Peninsula of South Australia. It passes close to the towns of Port Germein and Port Broughton, and the industrial city of Port Pirie. It is an important site for waders, or shorebirds.
